Dr. Suzanne Anderson – Orthodontist in Bethlehem, PA 18020
Dr. Suzanne Anderson, a proud Pennsylvania native, grew up in Doylestown. She attended the United States Air Force Academy out of high school, where she initially pursued a major in mechanical engineering. However, her passion for working closely with the people in her community led her to shift her focus to dentistry. Dr. Anderson seemed destined to be an orthodontist—engineering beautiful smiles for her patients. She ultimately graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology, concentrating on biomedicine.
Dr. Anderson’s dedication to dentistry culminated in her earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she met her husband, Craig Anderson. Their journey together brought them to the Midwest, where Dr. Anderson practiced general dentistry for three years in Saint Paul, Minnesota, while Craig completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Minnesota.
Driven by her love for orthodontics, Dr. Anderson returned to academia at the University of Minnesota to specialize in orthodontics and earn a Master of Science. She is currently contributing to the field through her research on emerging orthodontic-surgical technologies and techniques.
Dr. Anderson is thrilled to be back in Pennsylvania, bringing her expertise and passion for orthodontics to the Lehigh Valley. She is committed to continuous learning and remains actively involved in professional societies to stay at the forefront of her field.
Outside the office, Dr. Anderson cherishes time with her husband Craig, their two children, Sophia and Sullivan, and their Miniature Schnauzer, Piper (affectionately known as “Buggy”). An avid adventurer, she enjoys reading, flying, and training for triathlons. Her love for travel often takes her to destinations where she can indulge in skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, and hiking.
Dr. Anderson looks forward to welcoming new patients and is dedicated to providing the highest quality care, ensuring every patient leaves with a confident, healthy smile.
